I do not yet have a video camera for the computer. The basis of these laws is a violation of church and state. I have no personal interest in gay marriage, but Christian ethics and morals should not be what the state is or should be passing laws for or against. Somewhere along the line of political deviation from the US Constitution, the basis was lost in the clutter of insane ranting of religious zealots from Christians, Jews, Mormons, Islam and even Pagans. Yes, there is a "Freedom of Religion" as the first Amendment to the Constitution, but it did not say you had to have a religion, and the principal of seperation of church and state also got lost in the shuffle. Conservatives are supposed to be those folks that interpret the Constitution on denotation rather than the Liberal Conotations of the wording.  So in my legal opinion, there are no Conservatives Left in the Republican or Libertarian Parties. Demacrats are becomming conservatives, but they too are lost in the political mis-information that church and state are one. It may be true that in spirit we are all one, and we are all Gods with amnesia; but a persons religion is not supposed to be carried into government in a secular state with very specific Constitutional limitations. The Republican Christian Right has no place in our political future, whether it is talking about "Right-To-Life" (which that too is a lie, they are anti-abortion, not pro-life), or gay marriage.  The US Supreme Court must be our final conscience, and put things back into the Constitutional Envelope, and out of the church, if it is to remain a law. One may define a religious marriage, but not a legal one based on religious ethics or morals.

The reason that Gay marriage is requested is to get the same economic and property rights and stand in the same human dignity as those that have a heterosexual marriage.  How would they feel if an anti-religious group were to be the majority population that made heterosexual marriage illegal? One cannot, and should not try to legislate love and human dignity. No American should utilize religious prejudice to limit anyone in this country. This is still America, but is acting like the governments that their ancestors left their countries  to come here to escape!
