This iReport is part of an assignment:
A message for Obama |
How Can I Help?
I am among the many younger voters who are for the first time in our lives filled with hope and optimism about the future of our country. On Tuesday night, I felt for the first time in my life truly proud to be an American. My concern is this: In an extremely challenging time, both domestically and in foreign affairs, HOW CAN I HELP the Obama administration, and the government in general make this country a better place? I feel that there are many like me, who now that the election is over are looking for a way to participate in the change that we all agree is necessary. (I am a pacifist, so the military is out of the question).
President-elect Obama: Please offer those of use at the citizen level ways of participating in your vision. Thank you for all you have already done, and the best of luck!
