Honk for Obama - Canadian Farmer
I decided to submit this iReport because it became a big story in the local media in the city of Pickering, Ontario, Canada. Long before Obama won the Democratic nomination, this farmer's previous sign on the road became the talk of the town and source of controversy where City of Pickering had to get involved because of all the honking going on by his farm. I thought a Canadian farmer's inspiration was news worthy and the iReport community may enjoy reading it.I noticed a crowd of 100 + people when I went there for a period of 30 minutes. It became a family gathering event in the bad rainy weather.People loved the sign as a source of inspiration. According to farmer's account, he has had a stream of visitors stopped by to chat about Obama and his message of hope.
