Happy Veterans Day Old Buddy! SAAAA-LUTE!!!

Happy Veterans day 11-11-2008. Thanks for the memories, my old friends! From Russia to Hong Kong, Italy to Spain. From Hawaii to Australia, Japan, and the middle east. To all of those on active duty today, Thank you!- Wishing you the happiest of veterans days. Remember; the Flyboy trials breaking the sound barrier. "FREAKIN AWESOME!" Remember; the convoys at sea as we led the battle group scouting for enemy submarines. "AWESOME!" Remember getting wasted on Tequila over in Guam? I threw up on myself and was sick for two days. "Not so awesome!" Remember us at sea surrounded by sharks in the India Ocean? Remember the Barracudas looking up at us through crystal clear waters? Jeesh the teeth on those critters. Kept my hand on my gun in case one of them jumped out at me. "Very Scary!" Remember the close combat training with Buck knives in the Torpedo room, 'Danny, aka Turtle?' My old friend.- Remember; the USS Puffer. The USS Tullibee, the USS Gato, the USS Kamehameha, and our friends on the Bird Farm. Thanks guys for buying my book. Ghost of the Fallen http://www.wordclay.com And thanks for having each others back during the first gulf war! Thanks to Uncle Sam for the National defense medal. Thanks to the crew at the Damage control fire fighting in Groton Ct. We can only hope that the students that we trained, made it back ok. I went into Law enforcement with the Feds after I left you guys. I'm now retired with 25.05 years of service. Life is good!__Good freakin times!!!!!!!!!!!!!__ and hard work. Thanks for the memories of a lifetime!!!!!! _HAPPY VETERANS DAY to all _
