A puppy for the president |
BASENJIS are the Best Dogs for the White House!!
A basenji would be great for the White House! Basenjis are hypoallergenic, small, short-haired hunting dogs from Africa. They are one of the oldest domesticated breeds in the world, dating back to the times of the Egyptian Pharoahs. They are super intelligent, resourceful, energetic and alert, with insatiable curiosity to explore. They do not bark; they yodel. Basenjis are often called cat dogs because they groom themselves like cats; they are known for cleanliness and lack of odor. They love to be with people and are naturally affectionate and playful.
We adopted our two basenjis, Potsticker and Dumpling from a rescue foundation. They have provided our family of five with much joy and laughter and amazed us with their smarts, prowess and unique personalities!
