I appreciate your taking the time to get in touch and I apologize for the delay in my response. Throughout my time in Congress I have worked to protect the civil liberties of Americans, and I believe that discrimination in the workplace cannot be tolerated. As you may know, the Colorado legislature investigated UPS' treatment of its workers back in 1997, and it is they who are in the best position to respond to these new concerns. You may wish to contact your state representatives directly. Thanks again for contacting me. I see my job as more than voting on legislation. I also want to try to bridge divides and bring people together to solve problems. So, I welcome your letters and e-mails and always listen closely to what you and other Coloradans have to say. I look forward to serving as your next U.S. Senator. For more information, visit my website at http://markudall.house.gov/HoR/CO02/home.htm. Warm Regards, Mark Udall Member of Congress Forward Response to Mark Udall member of Congress: Dear, Senator-Elect Mark Udall: At that time The Colorado legislature send a letter to the Rocky Mountain District Manager: Mr. Jim Ziernicki who was defensive and was not concerned about UPS employee's allegations. Mr. Jim Ziernicki forward a letter back to the House of Representatives stating: "These employees should contact me their immediate supervisors or the Human Resources group if there are unresolved issues relating to discrimination in the work place". Mr. Jim Ziernicki new very well discrimination and bigotry exists at UPS. Apparently Mr. Jim Ziernicki and UPS management condones this behavior which is a widespread occurrence among supervisors and upper management. There has been some "resent reports in the national media relating to UPS". Mr. Jim Ziernicki was asked to respond to these allegations as well and give his response to how these issues can best be addressed and resolved in the future. The Colorado legislature never received a response from UPS Rocky Mountain District Manager Mr. Jim Ziernicki. A letter from the General Assembly of Colorado Denver was addressed to: Mrs Lea Soupata United Parcel Service 55 Glendale Pkwy NE Atlanta GA 30328 The Colorado legislature stated in there letter: "We previously communicated with Jim Ziernicki, the district manager at the Commerce City Colorado facility. We received no response in spite of sending him a detailed description of ongoing incidents of pervasive discrimination and bigotry". See attachment: Letter from House of Representatives. Mr. Udall it would be most appreciative you take the time to review website: http://www.corporate-misconduct.com/ go to (News Page) at the bottom of this page review evidence reveling allegations of discrimination and bigotry that still continues and exist today at UPS facility in Commerce City, CO. and abroad according to emails and voice mail messages received around March of 2007 at website: http://www.corporate-misconduct.com/ Note: Email remarks and voice mail messages are posted on the (News Page). Note: Allegations exist concerning Federal and State Government Agencies do not investigate claims filed concerning the evidence given for proper representation!
