Ex-Weather Underground Founder William Ayers Speaks before Georgetown Law Students
Former Weather Underground Founder William Ayers, who is now a professor from University of Illinois at Chicago told Law students at Georgetown University Monday about his personal account as an anti-Vietnam War activist in the 70's as well as his autobiography as a "fugitive".
He urged students to "open your eyes to see what is happening around you." He said, there are two wars that are now being fought. And had asked that these non-sense war should be stopped, calling on the incoming Administration to do something about it.
When asked by this iReporter how could he best described himself aside from being a peace activist, he jokingly said: "I am a loving father and grandfather..."
He was tagged by the FBI as State's enemy #1 after the series of bombings in early 70's allegedly orchestrated by his civil movement in which he himself was the co-founder.
Again, asked by iReporter if the justice for those falsely accused will be served under the Obama administration, he said he was and is happy that Obama was elected president and is confident that "this wonderful young man" is going to deliver what he promised.
