Your thoughts on the auto industry |
No bailout of the US Auto Industry!
Last time I reported I was in Paris, this time I am in the middle of the lava fields on the Big Island of Hawaii near Hilo. Yes, within one week I was in Paris, Berlin, Miami, Honolulu and then Hilo. Even though I travel a lot, I still keep up with the news and am very concerned about the US government bailing out US auto makers. I am not a 100% socialist, but neither am I a 100% capitalist, but this bailout of a non forward thinking US auto industry is the second major tax payer backed bailout of a whole industry. Why should my money be used to bail out corporate America. I'd rather my money be used to help under educated people get the education they need to compete properly world wide instead of being held back by government bailouts and unions that have caused a large part of this problem!
