Free Esha Candlelight Vigil at CSUN
Free Esha candlelight vigil held at California State University, Northridge. Students, professors and staff gathered on CSUN's Oviatt Library lawn to rally for Esha Momeni, a graduate student, who was jailed in Iran and released on bond. She is still being held in Iran, where she was writing her thesis on Iranian women.
Momeni's sibling spoke on their sisters' behalf and thanked everyone for their support. Fellow graduate students and professors shared thoughts about Momeni and her bravery in fighting for women's rights in Iran.
