When going north, one of the places you can go to learn more about history is the Olongapo Museum. It is discreetly located at Tapinac Street, it is a place worth visiting because of the rich history the museum can impart to the visitors. This place shows the different events that transpired in Olongapo.
Through moving dioramas they are able to tell stories of history to its visitors. They were able to replicate various events such as
-aborigines hunting boars
- arrival of the Spaniards, introduction of Christianity and construction of naval base
- WW2 Battle for Zigzag Pass
- Independence from Japanese and establishment of Olongapo as Military Reserve, serving as the largest Naval base outside America
- Illegal logger
- Assasination of Mayor James Gordon

- Magsaysay Drive / Sin City during Vietnam War
- Cleaning of ashes from 1991 Pinatubo Eruption
- Turn over of Subic Naval Base to the Philippine Government
