    Ed Port Makes the Front Page

    A young man named Ed Port was recently featured on the front page of the Youngstown Vindicator. It was published on Sunday November 25, 2008 and his community is responding with love and compassion. Ed Port is afflicted with a disease called neurofibromatosis or NF2. The article that appeared in the Vindicator has made a great impact. It has heightened it's readers' awareness of NF2 and of Ed's situation. Since the article ran, readers have contacted Ed with support, advice and even possible solutions to the situation. Ed's condition is reversible. Ed can be helped. The local news coverage has made a difference. Ed's story needs to go national. Please help Ed Port.
