    U.S. President-Elect Visits World Leader

    The North Pole is the home to many creatures: Elves, Reindeer, and the occasional Yeti, but this was the first time there were Secret Service Agents in Santa's Workshop! But when the President-Elect of the United States stops by for a visit, the Secret Service isn't far behind. "I'm going to be in the White House in January, but I knew that I needed to meet with world leaders as soon as I can," said Mr. Obama, "and I decided that this was the right time to visit with the man who gives hope to millions of boys and girls around the world." "Ho, ho ho! I've been watching this young man since I first went down his chimney!" said Santa, "But then again, I pretty much do that with every kid!" Santa gave a tour of the North Pole to the future president, including a stop at the Apendapulator, the great toy-making machine of the North Pole. The President-elect was very impressed at how the machine made so many toys with so very little power. Also in the discussion was energy-efficient travel, and what kind of puppy his daughters should have. The meeting ended after a light snack of hot chocolate and cookies served by Mrs. Claus, after which the group went to the stables to watch the reindeer train for the reindeer games. "I believe that there is much to be learned from the gentle, loving, giving spirit of Christmas, and much of that stems from Mister Claus," said Obama, just before he left for his flight back home. "I think that this world needs more Christmas spirit!"
