This iReport is part of an assignment:
Show us your Thanksgiving |
Thanksgiving at the Grandparents House
We spent Thanksgiving at my inlaws house, it was my mother in laws childhood home. They just bought it last year and she has enjoyed recreating the holidays that she enjoyed while growing up there. We had a wonderful meal with a great turkey, followed by a big selection of deserts. My oldest daughter was the lucky one who got the drumstick while my youngest daughter loved the chocolate cake the best. My older son loves seeing my father in laws antiques and hearing the history behind them. After lunch we went outside where the boys climbed trees and we all shot off fire crackers.
