Bangkok, Thailand

This iReport is part of an assignment:
Stuck in Thailand? |
Today in Bangkok (12/1) Part 2
The scene at the the international airport remains surreal. Imagine if something like this happened in NY or Sydney. What would happen?
People are preparing for change. 1000s more came today. The access to the airport has multiple checkpoints starting about 3 km from the terminal. The remnants of police riot gear that was "borrowed" during a recent interaction between the PAD protesters and the Police also line the road.
There is music, food and lots of sleeping as the protesters are tired but remain in good spirits. Everyone expects something to happen soon.
