    Let the DEMS take Control

I just came home from voting in the Senatorial run-off here in Georgia. Although, I am a believer in checks and balances, in this case, I decided to cast my vote for Jim Martin, a Democrat, for three reasons. First and foremost, I decided that since our country is currently in such a financial mess, I would like to see change as quickly as possible. I don't want legislation to get held up in Congress because of any ridiculous GOP agendas. WE NEED CHANGE NOW!! If the Democratic party has control for a couple of years, then maybe we'll be able to dig ourselves out of this mess at a faster pace. We don't need any more bickering and arguing to prevent the necessary changes this country needs. The second reason for choosing Jim Martin was because of the dirty rotten ads that Saxby and his GOP buddies have chosen to air. The typical low blow, sleazy, fright tactic ads. Do you think Americans are a bunch of morons? Apparently, your party must have several of them, and maybe that's why you guys lost the General Election? You need to learn from your mistakes. And the final reason I voted for Jim Martin was the decision Saxby made to use Sarah Palin in his campaign at the last moment. If that is the type of supporter he wants to appeal to, then forget it. No way, would I jump on that bandwagon.
