Stuck in Thailand? |
Airport Protest Irony
Thai PAD protesters closed major Thai airports until their judicial system invalidated the election of their most recent Prime Minister due to fraud, leaving innocent (and uninformed) vacationers standed.
Meanwhile, there has been a significant, but largely ineffective, effort by the families of the the 45 (uninformed) tourists killed in Thailand in the crash of Orient Thai's OG269 to improve aviation safety in Thailand.
Now that the commerical aircraft can fly again, the Thai Civil Aviation Department has once again authorized the pilots to fly times beyond the legal maximums.
