    Working Toward Poverty: Underemployment & Working Mothers

    As

    part of ​ Blog Action Day 2008 Poverty​ we'll discuss the impact of

    poverty on working mothers within our own communities with ​Dr. Mary

    Gatta​, Senior Advisor of Workforce Policy and Research at the Center

    for Women and Work at Rutgers University. Many of our citizens work

    full-time jobs that barely keep their families fed. We'll discuss how

    underemployment effects women in our community; what we can do to help;

    and what they can do to begin improving their own situations.
