Most Decked out Holiday House in Chicago, IL

Our family has one of the BEST and most creative Holiday displays in the Chicago area. For about 20 years we have been going all out for the Holidays. It started with my parents and now my brother and I take over the outside and my parents do the inside decorations. Many people love the work we do each year, with families bringing their children for photos or people driving by stopping to snap a photo of our outdoor display. The neighbors think we are the Griswald's from the popular Christmas movie, "Christmas Vacation." We do extreme decorating! We add new things each year as well as change things each year is unique. Electric bill? Let's just say we are probably one of the electric companies most valued customer. Here is what we have this year. On one side of the lawn we have a Santa's Toy Shop theme. This includes: elves, Santa, gingerbread, presents, multi-colored lighted trees, carolers and a HUGE Airblown animated Toy Shop. On the other side of our lawn we have a Winter Scene. This includes: 5 lighted reindeer, lighted trees, polar bears, penguins, snowflakes, 8 foot Airblown penguin, and an Airblown animated snow globe. Plus, we have lighted candy canes along the walkway and candles on the front steps. Finally, we have a lighted window display with tree and over 6 animated holiday characters. The inside is impressive as well with two huge decorated trees, snowmen display, lighted village scenes, and much more.
