    We Are the World: This band is going to change everything. Utterly and completely genius musical theatrics. For fans of anything new, innovative, and inspiring.







    The Henry Clay People: A new EP and LP out this year alone. Pound for pound, one of the best bands in Los Angeles. For fans of Pavement, The Hold Steady, The Replacements.







    Happy Hollows: Lead singer Sarah Negahdari was born for the stage, film, or anything that involves a spotlight because she's a star. Two new EPs this year. For fans of Bikini Kill, Deerhoof, Yeah Yeah Yeahs.







    Jenny O.: Just finished new album for 2009. Some of the prettiest pop songs we've ever heard. For fans of Cat Power, Jana Hunter, Ingrid Michaelson.







    The Entrance Band: Best pure hard rock band in Los Angeles. New album out soon. For fans of Zeppelin, Hendrix, early Sabbath.
