This iReport is part of an assignment:
Foreclosures in your neighborhood |
To Don Lemon's question about the economy
We live in Vernonia, Oregon. You may recall that last year our entire town got flooded just about this time last year.
Tonight, a single dad that just lost his job, has his house in foreclosure, and was about to get his truck taken away was waiting for his xwife to pick up his child so he could kill himself. The SWAT Team about 5 minutes ago, just blew out his windows and took him into custody.
This story will probably repeat itself a couple of thousand times before this economic nightmare is over.
I'm not joining Twitter, and you'll probably be able to find out more details in Portland Oregon's local news tomorrow.
