Walk around your neighborhood |
Mission District Art, San Francisco
Art is ubiquitous in San Francisco's heavily Latino Mission District. Famous for its murals and graffiti, it's an art junkie's paradise. Just pay close attention as you stroll down its streets and alleys - art is everywhere: on phone poles; street signs; houses; sidewalks; landscaping; and the sides of buildings. The messages reflect the hopes, dreams and concerns of residents from many lands.
