Walk Around Town 1982 World's Fair Park
Knoxville, Tennessee was host to the 1982
World's Fair, Energy Expo.
After months of desertion the old fair site earned a face lift and is now home to our World's Fair Park . Many of the city's events are held here.
The Sunsphere still stands and marks the city's landscape. The ampitheater is used often and the lake has been cleaned and landscaped.
My little grandson and I braved the cold last evening to capture a few photos of the fairsights, the Sunsphere, Candy Factory, Art Museum and the old L&N Railway Station as well as the man made lake that was once the center of the 1982 Fair.
