Travel Snapshots: Paris |
Life Without Cars
During a holiday in Vietnam I spotted numerous people using bicycles in order to transport "goods" and "merchandise" around town. What if GM, Chrysler, and Ford went out of business and there were 30 million less cars to buy next year? What if petrol prices went above 4 dollars a gallon? Might we see more urban living families and local businesses use bicycles as a main form of transport during the warmer months?
What do you think of this story?
