I did not get into Nirvana right away. When " Nirvana Unplugged" came out it quickly became a favorite of mine.

The dental office I worked at  had undergone some renovations. This was a beautiful office..very large. One of the things added was a new sound system. The cd player held about 100 cd's as I recall. The staff was invited to bring in cd's and pending approval..we could enjoy our own music choices.

One of mine was  " Nirvana Unplugged" needless to say it was shot down. Because we kept th music volume down fairly low I was convinced no one would notice if I slipped it in anyway. Sandwiched between Kathy Lee Gifford and Kris Kristofferson..I placed my treasured cd. It lasted about a month before someone sold me out.

One day..my boss burst into my office..his finger jabbing towards the speaker in the ceiling..he bellowed..    " Is this Nirvana????"

"Umm..yes sir..."

" Enjoy this last song"

Nirvana was quickly  " unplugged" And I was forced to endure endless days of Kathy Lee and Kris.
