Chief Obama Speechwriter Shown Groping Hillary Cardboard Image

Jon Favreau, chief speechwriter for Barack Obama was recently exposed by Washington Post reporter Al Kamen for a photo showing him pretending to grope a cardboard image of Hillary Clinton. A friend of Favreau is pretending to give her a beer. The photos of a recent party Favreau attended appeared on Facebook for two hours and were quickly removed. Favreau, a 2003 Holy Cross graduate, is 27 and has just been appointed director of speech writing for the White House. According to Kamen, Favreau has offered an apology to Senator Clinton. Favreau began his writing career on John Kerry's presidential campaign in 2004 as press assistant. He cites Reagan speech writer Peggy Noonan as his all-time favorite speechwriter. Favreau isn't the only Obama appointee to disrespect Sen. Clinton. Samantha Power is on Obama's State Department review team and once called Clinton a "monster." She was bounced from the campaign team, but has been reinstated as part of the transition team. On the campaign trail, Obama was caught off-handedly flipping the bird to Clinton: YouTube - Obama Flips off Hillary. "Obama has denied that he was flipping her off," said TVC Executive Director Andrea Lafferty, "but how many people use their middle finger to scratch their face? The reaction of the crowd also showed that they ‘got' his obscene gesture about Clinton. "While I do not agree with Hillary Clinton on many things, I find this incredibly disrespectful. It shows that it's okay to demean those people you don't agree with. This disrespectful attitude comes from the President-Elect to his speech writer and to his key policy person. Maybe we shouldn't be shocked by Favreau's gross behavior because it comes from the top down." http://www.traditionalvalues.org/modules.php?sid=3499
