This iReport is part of an assignment:
Ask Christiane Amanpour |
Undeniable and well-documented fact
As an Armenian I was expecting that the issue of Armenian Genocide will receive its due coverage in your two-hour documentary, but unfortunately as in case of many Armenians and people of good-will I was also dismayed witnessing in your documentary the deliberate sidestepping of the first Genocide of the modern times by alloting less than one minute to the Armenian Genocide. I wonder, was your trivial treatment of this watershed matter in the life of the Armenian nation due to your lack of information, to political subservience to the denialist attitude of Turkey, to threats or to bribes? Many Armenians expect answers to these questions.
Sincerely,
Onnik Kiremitlian
