Barbie Dolls, Dolls & Stuffed animals collection

My doll collection started growing when my husband and I

began dating. He knew I loved Barbie dolls, and he would give me one as a gift

for just about every occasion. Other family members and friends followed his

    lead.

My favorite Barbie dolls are the ones wearing wedding

dresses. When we moved to our new home, we had a display case especially built

for my prettiest dolls. Overall, I have over 150 Barbie dolls in my

    collection.

When my collection first started increasing, I was hesitant

to take the Barbies out of their boxes. I didn’t want them to lose their value.

But my older brother, who was an avid collector of Star Wars figurines, advised

me that the real joy of collecting comes from celebrating your treasured items.

His advice was very true, and I decided to enjoy my collection rather than use

my Barbies as an investment. It makes me so happy to see my beautiful dolls

    adorn my home.

Besides my Barbie dolls, I also have a collection of stuffed

animals. I love that stuffed animals can always brighten a person’s mood. I

hope that my collection never stops growing.
