This iReport is part of an assignment:
Crumbling infrastructure |
ROADS AND BRIDGES COLLAPSE
Mayors' infrastructure request full of pork, report to Congress that requests $73.2 billion to pay for infrastructure projects around the country includes plans for a polar bear exhibit, an anti-prostitution program, a water park ride, zoos, museums and aquatic centers. $4.8 million polar bear exhibit / new $1.5 million water ride etc....it is a wonder every city /state is over budget.
Have these guys forgotten what they are elected to do ?
The mentality of you scratch my back, and I will scratch yours is asine, there are valid repairs that need to be made in may roads, bridges, and structures to creat jobs and safety for your constituients.
