If it were summer, maybe he would've gone down to the beach and written it in the sand, hoping she'd see it before a wave washed it away. It was an important question! WILL YOU MARRY ME? Since it was winter, he took advantage of the weather, and wrote it in the snow....all over the cars in our driveway. WILL YOU MARRY ME? on the snowy hood of her car; WILL YOU MARRY ME? on the icy window of my car, on the windshield of his car, on my husband's car....well, you get the picture.
She screamed, asked him if it was a joke, and got her answer when he dropped down on one knee in the garage. As he slipped a ring on her finger, he got his answer. YES!
