    Who won the VP debate?

Time to Stop and Say THANKS!!!!

With all the emotions running high and the disappointment with the passage of Prop. 8 in California has brought...I've seen a "them vs: us" attitude...and myself stands quilty...where we (the gay community) have failed to thank our straight friends and family for their support.

Prop. 8 passed with 52% of the vote? Well I know that 48% of California is not gay! Taking into account the 10% factor, that mean about 43.2% of the people who voted against Prop. 8 were straight....that a big percentage!

They deserve acknowledgement (not only in California but across the country). I wish I were in a position to be there to help protest, but I would like to see some placards in the crowd showing them our appreciation.

The rest of the country needs to see that it isn't just "gay" people out there fighting for our rights, but also straight people who know injustice when they see it!
