Tibet Supporters Surrounded by a Group of Chinese People at Nagano Torch Relay, Japan

When a group of 5 people including 3 young Japanese ladies giving origami crane written ‘Free Tibet' on it to people on the street in front of Nagano station on April 26th, 2008, on the day of the Torch Relay, one of Chinese guy started a discussion with one of the Tibet Supporters. Taking this opportunity, many Chinese people surrounded 3 Tibet support female and made fun of them and gave a pressure to them in Chinese, English and Japanese. Finally Chinese people sung their national anthem with a speaker and claimed that it is not right if Japanese people support ‘Free Tibet.' This is what Chinese people have done in Nagano under the name of ‘Japan-China friendship' and ‘supporting the Torch Relay.' They were also occupying streets without any consideration to the local people.

When the girls were surrounded, 2 of them made phone calls to the police but they showed no intention to help them. It was obvious that the security precaution was built on Chinese favoritism.

Please kindly take a look at this film so that people all over the world would know how the situation in Nagano, Japan was on the day of the Torch Relay for the Beijing Olympic.
