    Caleb's first Christmas

    Our son was born on November 17 and this will be his first Christmas. We had this photo taken when he was only 6 days old, and it has quickly become a family holiday favorite.  As 2008 is closing out, the economy is in the dump, we're deep into an ugly war, and everyday the local and national news provides us with no relief in sight...and he sleeps completely oblivious to it all.  He has reminded our family that the precious things in life are priceless, and that we have so much to be thankful for this holiday season...and that it will all pass in time.  Merry Christmas, and we hope that Santa is as kind to all of you.
