Christmas Day @ Imus Cavite, Philippines
Spending the 25th of December in Imus Cavite has been a tradition for me and my family. This time around, I was able to go to the town square to see what transpires during the 25th.
First of all, I was able to see a lot of lights show around the town square. Rain poured so I was forced to take shelter inside the Cathedral where a mass is taking place. What a treat! I was able to witness a performace of the Deaf Ministry where they translated Christmas carols into sign languages and the Church goers applause by waving their hands. After the mass, I walked around to see and document how traditional food is made. Lastly, I was able to see some modern day carolers where in they have a mobile drum set made of recycled materials. They used pails, metals, old containers for their drum set and they move from house to house to carol residents on this wonderful Christmas night.
Merry Christmas everyone!
