Direct Impact on Homeless Woman
At least once or twice a year I try to give away items that I no longer wear or that are taking up so much space in my closets or storage unit. I take them down to skid row or near homeless shelters and give away my clothes. I gave some shoes to one particular lady and once she had the new socks and shoes on, she asked me how much she owed me. The impact from this homeless woman to me eliminates all my worries and my troubles, all my debt, all my enemies, to make this woman happy and to see her world much better with such a simple gift is peace and harmony whole heartedly without any effort from another human being. This is true humility and gratefulness generated. Try it.
