African Watusi Cows
Quite the unusual sight! On the road to Volcanoes National Park, there is a ranch we pass that has two African Watusi cows...Considered sacred, and one of the rarist breeds, they are often referred to as the Cattle of Kings. These two seem quite content to hang out by the fence, nearest to the road, and they are hard to miss, so we make a point to stop by and visit whenever we are over in that direction. The first picture is just lucky timing with the camera, as he's obviously chewing, but it looks like he's smiling, which is a complete crack up (He's actually just thinking to himself 'Oh, Gawd, there's that weird lady taking my picture again'). Anyway, it reminds me of sunethra/Shari's smiling camel photo from her trip to India. Photo #6 looks like it could be Watusi Love, lol...I think it's because they both look alike, and they are very happy about that. :)
