Christmas @ Intramuros
Christmas @ Intramuros
The number of free attractions around Metro Manila is a lot. I have featured just a few of the Christmas spirit my country has to offer.
Even an old Spanish fort in Manila, Intramuros didn’t get left behind. They host a free live theater show, eating place with all the traditional foods such as ‘puto bumbong’ and ‘balot’ (pre-mature chicken in egg). They also have a Christmas tree made of products from indigenous materials usually being sold by gypsies from the provinces. They also have ‘kalesa’ (horse driven carriage), limo style that can be rented for a tour around the fort. They have a Nativity exhibit and lantern display made from indigenous materials.
