Residents of Coal Sludge Area Finally Get Town Meeting

Residents from the city of Harriman Tennessee finally have the Town meeting they have been hoping for. The meeting started at 4:30 this afternoon. No public word from meeting that I have heard so far. City councilmen said public input was crucial to decide the best steps towards recovery. The residents have been in limbo since the coal sludge spill on December 22. Harriman is about 35 miles west of Knoxville.
