Sean Bell: Murdered for a 3rd time!

    Posted April 30, 2008   Source: Livesteez.com

How can anyone in their right mind do this?? The NYPD Internal Affairs Bureau is investigating a taunting phone call placed from the Manhattan offices of the Sergeants Benevolent Association to the family of Sean Bell's fiance Nicole Paultre-Bell. The association is one of the city's prominent police unions.

According to the New York Post, someone called the grieving family and said "ha, ha, ha" Friday afternoon. The home's caller ID identified the call's origin. The cruel call was made worse by the fact that Nicole and her parents had just returned from the cemetery to visit Bell's grave.

“It was just horrible to get that phone call after coming back from the cemetery,” said Nicole , who married Sean Bell posthumously, after he was killed by police bullets hours before their wedding.

“The guy was taunting us, laughing," said Nicole's father. "It was horrible because we had just come back from the court and the cemetery.”

Despite the internal investigation, no leads have surfaced in the matter.

“If the accusations are true, we will deal with it,” said the union's President Edward Mullins.

This hideous activity is another chapter in what it's like to be Black in America
