    Rienzie Wijetileke, a Business magnate said that breakdown in law and order is the worst thing that can happen to a country.

     

    Referring to the petrol bomb attack launched on Friday (2

    Jan) , prior to the major attack on 6 Jan. .against the MTV , he

    regretted that the Police had not taken any precautionary action to

    prevent the subsequent  6th Jan. attack , despite a complaint being

    lodged  earlier regarding the Friday attack.

     

     

    At a time when

    business community is being suffocated by the economic slump in the

    country , these incidents further aggravate the crises. The values

    system is fast deteriorating in the country , and nobody at the top is

    caring for a decent life or maintenance of law and order , he lamented.
