    HNI started again today laying off employees. this latest round of layoffs is according to the sources will be 400 people locally in muscaitne iowa added to the 100 let go in october of 2008.HNI is the parent company for Hon Co. and Allsteel, which jointly employ about 4,000 people in Muscatine.
