This iReport is part of an assignment:
Images of Obama |
Hope in Dryer Lint
I felt compelled to create an image after his "Yes we can" speech. I was washing clothes that evening and decided then to produce his image using only fresh dryer lint. We are entering a fresh time in the US and this 8' x 10" original is my interpretaion of hope in America.
As a cancer survivor, Obama inspired me that anything is possible. As an artist, I am always looking for unique mediums to work with. He inspired me to create the imposible! As he said, "Yes we can!" I feel now that all things are possible.
Due to popular demand... I have put this piece up for sale on Ebay. Please, bid high so that I can cover my medical bills. Have fun with the bidding! Thank-you.
