This iReport is part of an assignment:
Does the album hold up? |
Hollies is even better in 2009
I was 10, and sad to have left the west coast and all my friends. We had just moved to the east coast, but I was already planning my running away from home stinit (this would last for many years), when I saw this album in the Rose's store.
My grandmother bought it for me, and I fell in love with Tony Hicks and the Hollies. I would go on to purchase many Hollie's albums throughout the years--whether LP, cassette, then mocing onto CD's.
The Hollies helped me get through rough emotional times, and I saw them on their reunion tour with Graham Nash in the 70's.
Does the album still hold up? You betcha! That and all their other songs
