    Family Fights Back

    11-year-old Rachel and her mom, Kay Smith, are battling back against the tragedies caused by the worldwide economic downturn.  As thousands of once-loved pets are being turned over to shelters by victims of unemployment and foreclosure, the Smiths are braving sub-freezing temperatures to collect food and blankets for animal shelters. 

     

     

     

     

    Join me in meeting the Smiths and watching their self-sacrificing work.
