My son was recently on tour in Europe with his band, while in England he got sick and went to the hospital. He was there for 6 hours and had every test under the sun done, they found he had pnemonia. When he left he didn't have to pay a dime, it was all FREE. I asked him how he got it free since he wasn't a  British Citizen, he had a work permit.

I lost my job in June and with it, my insurance. While my son is in England getting free medical I'm sitting in California hoping I don't get sick cause I can't afford to go to a doctor.

If it works in other countries why can't it work here? I know some of you'll will write me giving me 10 million reasons why it won't work here. But something has to be done. There's a saying, "If it ain't broken, don't fix it." Well ,our health care is Broken and something needs to be done. In this big beautiful country of ours can't we find a happy medium?
