HELP!!
I have had some major changes in my life in the last 5 yrs. A divorce that left me with a great deal of debt and since remarried and have a new child. However my commission job has taken some hits and income is about half of what it should be. I am doing side work and selling off excess items to generate enought to cover monthly bills as I am about $1000 negative each month( Household income is about $45K) Our home is modest $1100mo and auto payments are $250 and $209. My divorce left me with huge credit debt including money I had to some up with to sell the marital home(after 2 yrs!) So I have $15Kin credit debt!! I only have (maybe) one late pay in my credit history so my credit is pretty good. At this point I can't make it much longer. The stress is killing me and the extra jobs just seem to get us by, not ahead. When do I stop saving for retirement and when do I know it is time to give in and get credit counsleing/consolidation??
