Blackhawk Helicopter Crash At Texas A&M
At approximately 3 pm on January 12, 2008, an U.S. Army ROTC UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter crashed into Duncan field immediately after takeoff. The cause of the crash is being reported as rotor failure. Five people were on board consisting of 4 crew members and one member of Texas A&M ROTC staff. No students were on board. One fatality has been reported, the condition of the other 4 is unknown. 190 members of the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets witnessed the crash. These pictures were taken from George Bush Ave. at approximately 5 pm.
