Wii-- Essential Resource For Autistic Children
Earlier reported by CuringAutism. Wii has proven to play a major role in enhancing social , fine and gross motor skills in children in the Autistic Spectrum.
My six year old grandson Isaac has Asperger's Syndrome. We have seen a marked increase with his coping abilities and over all social skills.
His gross and fine motor skills have greatly improved. Even though Guitar Hero is not part of Wii , it is one of of his favorites.
We love to watch the intense expressions on his face.
Isaac also loves Mario games and any animal orientated video game.
We feel the extravagant Christmas gift was well worth the expense. It has been an asset in teaching cooperation and sharing with his older brother.
