    Severe Weather Rattles Southeast Kansas

    Severe weather struck southeastern Kansas May 1st, bringing with it large hail, potentially deadly lightning, flood warnings, and three separate tornado warnings. Residents sought shelter and businesses closed as the string of severe thunderstorms moved through the area.
