This iReport is part of an assignment:
Inauguration: Your view of history |
The Tibet under Dalai Lama
Before 1959, Tibet was ruled by Dalai Lama. Although it was a place of China, Dalai Lama was the actual leader or "king" of Tibet. He and his authority at that time have all the privileges as a slaver. The Dalai Lama authority likes to punish the slaves by cutting their hands/feet, eyes. The slaves had to live in caves or slams. The Dalai Lama authority members can take the lives of the slaves at any time. When this slavery system was broken, Dalia Lama had to escape from China. Since that, he said he is a peaceful person and tries to cheat the world for raising money. Then he got Nobel Peace Prize, a prize based on millions of dead slaves.
Today is the Matin Luther King day, and President Obama will have his inauguration ceremony soon. President Lincoln did all his effort for librating the salves. Let's don't forget all the scarified slaves in the dark days in US and Tibet.
