This iReport is part of an assignment:
Your thoughts on the auto industry |
Support America & Buy American Cars
This is not a statement of ill-will towards other countries. It is a
simple fact that a person should take care of his or her own home
first. I feed my family before I give to a neighbor. I help my neighbor
before I help a stranger. I am willing to help a stranger, but my
family should not be asked to go hungry as a result.
To The American Car Buyer:
Help
your neighbor before you help a Japanese or Korean car company. How
long will it be before you don't have a job because of our economy?
Auto plants have been idled. Steel mills have been idled. Engineering
companies have laid personnel off. It doesn't matter what industry
employs you. It will affect you sooner or later. When the auto workers
can't afford to keep their cable tv, they will shut it off and the
cable company will shrink as a result.
